ARMM Approves P3 Billion Telecom Investment Originally Intended For Marawi

The Regional Board of Investments (RBOI) of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) recently approved during its 3rd Joint Management Committee and Board of Governors Meeting the Php 3.0 billion telecommunications investment of TierOne Communications International, Inc. (TierOne).
The investment project seeks to put up a telecommunications carrier in the ARMM.  Initially, TierOne planned to conduct its first rollout program for Marawi City.  However, due to the ongoing Marawi siege the company had to re-evaluate its business plan and program of works.

Traders Support All Moro Convention For ARMM Stability

The ARMM Business Council (ABC) as the umbrella organization of business chambers and trade associations in the region expressed their support to the call for an all Moro convention in order to foster stability in the area. This was learned by the Regional Board of Investments (RBOI) after the conduct of their investment roadshow for Maguindanao last week.

MAP commits support to ARMM's investment drive

Cotabato City (May 22, 2017) – The Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) has expressed support in promoting the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) as an investment destination.

In a manifesto signed by its top officials on Monday (May 22), the MAP urged its members and its various committees to integrate action plans in coordination with the ARMM’s Regional Board of Investment (RBOI-ARMM) to achieve this objective.
