ARMM Investment Priorities Plan (IPP) Ready By Year End

(November 29, 2016.Cotabato City). The Regional Board of Investments (RBOI) of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) is now on the process of drafting the latest Investment Priorities Plan (IPP) or the 2017-2019 ARMM List. ARMM IPP enumerates the economic activities the ARMM government should incentivized to meet regional development goals.

ARMM Hopes To Revitalize Sabah Cross-border Trade In BIMP-EAGA Summit

(Cotabato City, November 25, 2016). The ARMM economic growth and linkage regional cabinet cluster through its head, Regional Board of Investments chairman Ishak Mastura, announced its plan to send a delegation to the upcoming Brunei-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area Summit (BIMP-EAGA) next week in Puerto Princesa, Palawan to push for a revitalized Sabah cross-border trade with the island provinces of ARMM, namely, Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi.

ARMM Hopeful Of More Banana Exports To Japan After Duterte Visit

After the recent announcement of Secretary Manny Pinol of the Department of Agriculture about the potential for more exports of bananas to Japan coming from the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), its Regional Board of Investments (RBOI) confirmed that the ARMM is gearing up for the challenge and is in fact already a major source of exports of Cavendish bananas to Japan, particularly from the Unifrutti Group Philippines.
