Joint RBOI Board Of Governors And MANCOM Meeting

The Board of Governors and the Management Committee of Board of Investments, Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao conducted a joint meeting on November 3, 2011 at Grand Menseng Hotel, Davao City. The main agenda was the approval of the application for registration of the AGUMIL PHILS., INC. for expansion located at Buluan, Maguindanao.




111th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary

The Regional Board of Investments joined the celebration of the 111th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary with the theme "Championing R.A.C.E.: Public Service Excellence Full Speed" with all line agencies of Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao and the Officials of CivilService Commission -ARMM, Cotabato City . The celebration was kicked off by a short parade inside the ORG Compound to afterwhich hataw and a short program.

2011 awarding ceremony for Outstanding Public Officials and Employees in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao was held on September 21, 2011 at the Shariff kabunsuan Cultural Complex, ORG Compound, Cotabato City.

During the event, video messages from CSC Chairman Francisco T. Duque and President Benigno Simeon Aquino was also played. The Master of Ceremonies during the awarding was Atty. Sha Elijah Biruar Dumama-Alba.


COTABATO CITY, October 19. The ARMM Regional Board of Investments (RBOI) Chairman lawyer Ishak Mastura announced today in the ARMM Tapatan Forum this city that the RBOI has managed to attract and lure investors to register their fresh and additional investments in the ARMM with their office for the last 3 consecutive quarters of the year.

This 4th Quarter, Agumil Philippines, Inc., a Palm Oil Mill located in Buluan, Maguindanao asked and applied with the RBOI to register the expansion of their Palm Oil Mill from its existing capacity of 30 Metric Tons to 45 Metric Tons with an investment or project cost worth P132.4 million. The approval of their registration is expected to be done before the end of the month or first week of November at the earliest.

Positive Trend In ARMM Investment Continues

COTABATO CITY, October 4. The ARMM Regional Board of Investments (RBOI) in its 3rd Quarter Report stated that it was able to register a P24 million investment on the expansion of Matling Industrial and Commercial Corporation located at Malabang, Lanao del Sur. Matling Corporation is the largest cassava starch producer in Mindanao and one of the oldest corporations in the region since it began its operations in Malabang in 1928 during the American period prior to even the declaration of Philippine independence in 1946.

This has been a banner year for the RBOI because it has exceeded its target to register P400 million worth of private sector investments by 381% with the registration of the P1.5 billion telecommunications investment of EA Trilink Corporation in the 2nd Quarter this year.

Regional Board Of Investments, ARMM Adopts A School

As per instruction of the Acting Regional Governor HON. ANSARUDDIN A. ADIONG, in support to the Department of Education activities in connection with their program “BRIGADA ESKWELA 2011”, on June 13, 2011, the Regional Board of Investments led by its Chairman, ATTY ISHAK V. MASTURA donated school supplies for students and teaching materials for the teachers. The lucky recipient was the Datu Usngan S. Mastura National High School located at Pinaring, Sultan Kudarat , Maguindanao. The Vice Governor of the Province of Maguindanao, Datu Ismael “Dustin” Mastura, graced the occasion. Other attendees to the activity were staff of the Board of Investments-ARMM, Barangay Chairman of Pinaring, and some Councilors of Sultan Kudarat Municipality.
