Over 70 participants attended the Bridging ARMM Investments Promotion Seminar-Workshop towards the Bangsamoro on April 29-30, 2014 at Alnor Complex, Cotabato City. The activity was organized by the Regional Board of Investments (RBOI) in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). It was attended by members of the Economic Cluster of the ARMM Regional Government mostly are information officers, representatives from the business community and other non-government organizations and the media.
The seminar workshop is part of RBOI's way to help capacitate ARMM human resources with the support of JICA through its ARMM Comprehensive Capacity Development Project. Through the activity, the participants were exposed to the current issues, opportunities and challenges in the ARMM investments in the face of the political transition in 2015 of the Bangsamoro political entity.
The activity highlighted with the conduct of an analysis of the current status of ARMM investments climate and Branding the Bangsamoro as an economic region.
Atty. Ishak V. Mastura said that the training is very important since we are gearing towards the Bangsamoro as the new political entity and that part of this is the preparation of our human resource in order to contribute to a functioning Bangsamoro government.
